Ratings and reviews

Great from a security standpoint. However it pushes it's own ad notifications without anyway to disable them, harassing you get others to join or get their other programs. It's also pretty slow so I had to split tunnel and turn off on 104 apps so far. Even so, it has bugs and randomly interferes with my data and app connections. Overall, get for the security, not for reliability or speed. Still, this VPN is somehow unfortunately still overall the best option, if not, 1 of the top 3.

Nordvpn keeps dropping when my phone or tablet connects to a different wifi AP in my house. I have to manually disconnect, then reconnect the app. It's really annoying. No other VPN apps do this - I've tried express VPN and PIA as well - they all seamlessly handle the handoff between APs. Nord's app disconnects every time, no matter the protocol. I always have to force a disconnect/reconnect.

It was awesome, until they were bought up by Google. Now, there are many connection issues that were never there before. The app will be green to appear as if it is running, but won't actually be connected. And, it drops quite often. I will be changing when my sub expires.
