DS cam makes it possible to monitor and receive alert notifications from all your surveillance cameras set up on a Synology DiskStation. Smart features such as PTZ, patrols or lens control allow for perfect control of your cameras in real-time, while advanced filters make it easy to pinpoint any specific event from large lists of recordings. You can even perform all essential management tasks, from disabling a camera to unlocking and deleting a snapshot.

Edit: after a year of usage the app is still unusable. Login issues still persist. Now we also can't get sound out of half our cameras. At this point it's not just annoying, it's terrifying. We get a random knock at the door at 11pm and end up desperately trying to get the app to work to see if there's an intruder. Nothing like trusting your safety to a broken app.

Reliable, we have two servers. Lost ability to speak through microphones on cameras. Using openVPN takes away the ability to sign into dscam on that server using IP. Must us synology quickconnect which is not preferred. Unable to use MJEP to try fixing. Many drop cameras & must use auto reboot to recover so we don't manually power cycle cams. Left without the functionality. It's has really good capabilities & features. We are left with More to be desired as we lose functions.

Horribly unstable when used from outside my home network. Tried on two different devices via two different Internet connections. Web interface comes up fine, so does the Windows app. Whoever wrote this hot garbage needs to consider a career change. Already have a ticket open, but given recent responses I've gotten from their support, I expect some tier 1 canned garbage. Really need a way to contact tier 2 directly. Tier 1 is always a waste of time.
