Update: 1 year later still asking for the same things. Also, to look at photos on the phone not synced yet. A few things i would like to see. 1. Recycle bin for photos and make it easy to see from within the app. 2. Auto backup when connected to a specific wifi only (home wifi). Also when I'm connected to a vpn it seems to try to sync endlessly and not stop when it can't connect. Make it stop trying after a couple failed attempts? 3. Would LOVE an option to auto compress pictures and video.

The app (and product) has great potential that may never be realized. All depends on the dedication and vision of the development team. Advertisement campaigns make statements that this is a replacement to Google Photos. But a basic feature of commenting on photos is not available, even though requests have been made for years.

The app works, nothing intrusive or anything. However it keeps kicking my session off every few weeks. I have to manually reauthenticate every time, which means my automatic backup gets interrupted and doesn't run. So, if you lose your phone and took photos after the expiration, but never reauthenticated, they're pretty much a gonner until you find it again. Same issue with Files, Notes, and Drive. Not reliable this way...
