Free Sounds is unofficial freesound.org client for Android. Freesound is a large collection of free samples and loops: drums, synths, basses, piano, strings, dubstep loops, etc. With Free Sounds you can explore and download sounds from Freesound database.

I'm a musician/producer, using just apps & tablet software...& I'm damn good. It's possible because of free apps like this that provide everything I need to do what I do. If I'm looking for a specific sound, that's not a musical instrument per-say, this app has yet to let me down. The guality of samples can vary but the sheer quantity means there's a good chance of finding exactly what I need to use on which ever project I'm working on at the time. Cheering, clapping, thunder....It's got it.. 5⭐

Refuses to play very short sounds. Would be good if one could apply more than one score, such as sort by rating followed by duration. Needs manual playhead control as well as the ability to play and save a selection.

I appreciate this app. My thanks to the creator. Freesounds doesn't have a native app and web browser site is kinda glitchy and difficult for touch. I hope any problems can be fixed such as email register can't be saved.
