App not quite where it needs to be in terms of software development. Interface is slow and buggy and geolocation function no longer works since my last update. 10/27/24 Update. It's been over a year since my original review and Giant still struggles to develop a functional app. Perhaps they need to hire a developer who understands designing for user experience because no developer with 2+ brain cells would design ads that cover 70% of usable screen and prohibit you from actually shopping.

Have to manually disable ads from this app, delivered as notifications. In the middle of my work day, in the middle of focusing, my phone, which I use for work communications, sounded loudly. I checked the notifications, which I must do, and was informed by the giant app about an offer that was completely irrelevant to me. I then spent 10 minutes catching back up to my previous chain of thought. I was hoping Giant had enough integrity to not fall into the dark pattern of notification spam.

Useful for ordering groceries for pick-up, but there's still a lot of room for improvement. It doesn't include all in-store food options. Lags quite a bit or randomly closes when searching for foods. Also, won't let you review and approve/change substitutions, but will notify and tell you to approve them before pick-up.
