I was also excited to use card payments. Tried many times to use credit card. Keeps declining in app and in cab portable machine declines too. I think it doesn't accept international cards. New card machine needed. To accept contacted payments. Old versions of everything.

The app has a major problem now. When I open it and I am already an existing user , it asks to verify phone. Once verified , it transfers me to "sign up" and of course states that I am an existing user with no link to sign in instead.

They didn't show up at terminal 2. No one was available at the Sixt office. I had to ask and walk to terminal 3. The taxi they got me barely worked. The driver had a minutes argument at the toll gate because he didn't want to pay. Horrendous experience all around.
