Banking to go brings everything you need for banking. This means you have your personal finances under control anytime, anywhere - and mobile banking becomes so easy and secure that everyone can do it.

- For new ING customers: Simple current account opening including authentication and self-assignment of banking access data.
- See all accounts and portfolios at a glance. Sales are clearly listed. Find individual bookings quickly using the search function.
- Transfer using a template, photo transfer or QR code: There is no need for the hassle of typing out the IBAN.
- Buy or sell securities and see their development in interactive charts.
- Block cards anytime, anywhere in case of emergency.
- Activate mobile payment via smartphone with Google Pay and VISA Card directly in the app.
- If desired, be informed about account changes via push notification.
- Find the nearest ATM anywhere with the ATM search.

The app is actually quite nice, but this in-app marketing stuff ("offers", "did you know?") is super annoying to me. Every single time I open the app, which I do multiple times per day, the first thing I do is click on the little "x" to remove this distracting clutter! But those boxes keep showing. It really makes me angry... :( The least thing you should do is to offer an opt-out of this stuff! Edit: Still getting those ads in 2024, despite sending multiple mails and feedback.

A lot of useful features such as getting cash in stores or paying money with photo transfers are hidden somewhere in the settings page. But the worst thing was that I could not find the interest rate of my savings account without googling it. I guess it's to keep you from realising how much they are ripping you off with a a meagre 1.25%. Otherwise a good enough app considering the banking landscape in Germany. Other banks are catching up fast though.

App is okay for most uses. I would change the way you see your balance. All pending payments should already be deducted from yoir balance to show a more accurate reading rather than waiting for the pending to be verified. Also, you get a notification to say you spent €X amount and it is pending, and then the same notification once it actually leaves your account, make it just one notification
