Ratings and reviews

I signed up for breaking news notifications; not updates on The Bachelor or Disney programming. Way too many notifications that push ABC weather and programming. Not severe weather notifications; literally a daily "hey watch our forecast". It's distracting and has nothing to do with breaking news. When there is breaking news, the notification does not take you to the corresponding story. There are better sources out there for staying informed without pushing programming.

I have the auto play videos disabled and still get errors that the app can't play the video. I don't want the video to play so why is it trying to play it? *** EDIT*** App crashes a lot on articles pertaining to the recent conflict in the Ukraine. If you share the link to a browser the article is displayed without issue. ABC Development Team would you please fix this app?

UPDATE: 7/22/20: Galaxy S20 Ultra experiences same slowness upon loading. New problems are that when I tap a story in the Notification bar, it loads the PREVIOUS story I was viewing. Considering ABC7NY is the best newscast in the city, you would THINK that they would pay at least a little attention to the app. May have to change my loyalties to CBS and their app. Was great. Now it takes 10 to 11 seconds to load. Please fix. OnePlus 7 Pro Edit: Cannot believe it's been 9 MONTHS since my initial review (above}, and the issue persists. Update the app perhaps? Can't be the only one as this is happening on multiple phones, most recently a Pixel 4 XL. Have the most up to date version of app and Android.
