Dumbest smart thermostat ever. This thing is incredibly frustrating. Nothing about it works correctly. You create a schedule and it refuses to follow it. I disabled all the eco+ mode settings and it still will not work. It won't go into sleep mode at night, maybe because it detected motion. But then it goes into away mode even tho you are home. The app menus are convoluted and disorganized. The entire app is a sales pitch for more ecobee products. No thank you.

6/26/24: App does not communicate with the thermostat now. I have to log in through the browser in order to make any changes. As of now, the app shows the changes, but changes do not take effect unless it's through the browser. Pp is up-today, and I have uninstalled and reinstalled it with no resolution. Original review - Difficulties loading the adjusted temp. Half the time when you're switching between heat and cold, it appears to switch when it doesn't.

UPDATE 7/3/24-1 ⭐ The app stops working and the thermostat continues to disconnect from the wifi. Even after reconnecting, the app still doesn't connect to the internet. It's confusing to set up because there are so many different things to go into and tell it what to do. Make the app where it will KISS (Keep it simple stupid). If you don't remember anything else, remember this: it doesn't have to be pretty to work well. Stop adding extras and just make it work as simply as possible. PLEASE.
