Its not that great. I have two devices that require the app, and both are meh. The app only works when you're on the same wifi. Once you leave the house it's out of range. If you agree to notifications, they will send you weekly notifications of sales. Their app is covered in ads. Next smart device will be a different product, definitely.

Hi, we apologize for the issue you are having! The app can be used even away from home just make sure the wifi you are connected to is strong and stable so that can load up the devices in the app. About the ads, they can be disabled. Please disable this by going to Privacy Settings and disabling Personalized Recommendations. Thank you!

These things are super cool. I bought a smart outlet to tinker with. It turned out to be so useful that I bought 4 more. The app is fairly easy to use. Some polishing of the English could he helpful. Support responded in a timely manner and solved my problems. Br sure to turn off personalized ads. It also makes the app load much faster. The only negative is that these smart devices are expensive. If they were cheaper I would buy many more

Set up with plugs in gosund was easy. Connecting with Alexa was a little more difficult. My experience. When I searched gosund in the Alexa app skill section, I found that it did not allow me to enable the skill. I had to disable the skill, then searched again, found the gosund skill, clicked on it again,and this worked! The second time it allowed me to enable the skill, linked my accounts, and automatically searched and found my plugs, enabled them, and they DO work now... It was a challenge!
