About this game

Isle of Arrows is a fusion of board game and tower defense, in which you place randomly drawn tiles to build defenses on an ever-growing piece of land.

* Tile-Placement meets Tower Defense: Isle of Arrows is a unique blend of genres that adds a new strategic puzzle element to the Tower Defense formula.
* Roguelike structure: Each run is randomly generated with different tiles, enemies, rewards and events. Playing through campaigns unlocks more elements to appear in the game.
* Modes & modifiers: A variety of game modes, guilds, game modifiers, and challenges make each playthrough unique.


Gameplay
Each round, you get to place a tile on the isle for free. Spending coins allows you to skip to the next tile immediately. When you're ready, call the next enemy wave and watch your placed defenses in action.

There are 50+ tiles in Isle of Arrows:
Towers attack the invaders. Roads extend the path the enemies walk on. Flags grow the isle, giving you more space to build. Gardens reward you with coins. Taverns boost all adjacent archery towers. And so on.

Ratings and reviews

Brilliant! A genuine game that has both challenge and replayability. What a rare gem! The first two games were tough and felt very unforgiving, but it was just me having forgotten what a real game is supposed to feel like. No handholding, no boring tutorial, no pointless scores showing up between your every move; just pure gameplay from beginning to end. I've played from the start to the finale of the Merchants campaign so far and look forward to the rest. Highly recommended!

Great idea but needs update. As a tower defense game, you get towers randomly. Most of the time you don't get any and lost in a few rounds especially in daily mode. It has the same problem in its PC version and the dev stop updating the game. Be careful if you are buying the game because only campaign is playable in the moment. There are similar games in the market with active developers.

Fun game, but with a UI Bug? Can't back out of options menu or compendium menu with the button on the bottom left. Pixel 7 Pro. Use the back gesture multiple times quickly to back out. Also some framerate issues initially that led to a hard lock. Turning off clouds in options resolved that. Which caused me to have to go into the options menu again and... See above 🙃
