Rise to the challenge, get money in return
Get rewards with Hilo challenges! During the cold months, we suggest up to 30 Hilo challenges. If you successfully complete them, you’ll reap a cash reward. The formula is simple: Accept the automatic action suggested by Hilo and obtain a reward for each kilowatthour (kWh) that you don’t use. Completing a Hilo challenge is a small move that's good for both your wallet and the planet.

Beautiful app, and works really well. Would be nice if you can set a schedule for a single device so you don't have to make so many scenes for just doing a single device's schedule. And startup time of the app is also really slow, slower than if I just walked over changed the temperature myself, and I running Snapdragon Gen 2, so I can only imagine how slow it must be with slower phones.

Have to close the app prior to using any other app or to my home screen, or it to work. If I switch apps while Hilo is running, the app displays a "no internet connection" window overlapping the app when I come back to it. When I press back, thinking it will go away. It doesn't. You can see the app responds and goes to the previous screen. However, the "no internet connection" screen hovers over the app and you can't do anything else, but to close and reopn the app for it to work.

The app takes ages to open, and it is necessary to close it and open several times before it works properly. Also it is sometimes necessary to check the settings (as thermostats temperatures targets) as it comes back at the previous setting by itself.
