I really think that Verizon Messages used to use this as their own, so for those of you who got dumped by Verizon Messenger, this is pretty much the same thing, only better. It has every feature I've ever needed. It can: 1. schedule future messages. 2. delay sending messages for up to ten seconds after hitting send. 3. customize favorite contacts by color and notification sound. 4. allow you to pin your favorite contacts to the top of the list so you don't have to scroll for them. It's perfect.

I am so thankful to have found this app. I have tried nearly every SMS/MMS app available with some disturbing results. Most are filled with ads or features nobody needs to justify absurd pricing. Chomp, on the other hand, almost appears too good to be true. No ads, simple and concise layout, no predatory upselling. I just want to express my sincere gratitude to the devs.

I have been using Verizon messages for years, even after switching to tmobile bc the app is superior to any other text messaging app, but they are discontinuing it so I have been on the hunt for one as good. This one has basically all the same features except for the ability to search within a conversation or the option to click on shared media in a conversation. I utilize these tools so frequently, I really hope they can add these features, other wise I'll be continuing my search.
