About this app

Meet the new Vanguard app. We’ve updated and refined our features to make it easier than ever to invest from your mobile device. Along with our sleek new look, you can also log in to your accounts with Fingerprint ID. We’ll be rolling out new updates every few weeks, but if there’s something you want us to build, you can let us know in our Support tab.

Use the app to do the following (some features may not be available for employer-sponsored plans):

• Access an overview of your accounts to check your total assets and balances.

• Dive deeper to track your account performance, cost basis details, or day change information for each of your holdings.

• Make trades, deposit checks directly into your accounts, and review your transaction history.

• Find help, update your login preferences, and leave feedback via our Support tab.

This app used to break every time it updated. It doesn't do that any more. Now it breaks every few days, whether it's upgraded or not. The easiest thing to do is to uninstall it and reinstall it once a day. A reinstall fixes it (until it breaks again) but you have to go through all the intro stuff again. You can set up biometrics, but it will all be gone the next time you reinstall. Are you guys EVER going to fix it?!

I've had an employer 401k with Vanguard for 19 years now and I actually cannot remember an update that didn't make the experience worse... both via app and on desktop. Every update over the years has only added complexity to their site making it near impossible (or more difficult) to locate the most basic items an account holder would be looking for.

May 18, 2024-- from bad to worse. Now I log in and the app goes right to the "Thanks for Visiting page"......... Nov 23 2023-- The New app may have been an attempt to look more modern, but Vanguard ruined the UI in the process. The end result is the UX is abhorrent. The pages dont all fit on my device, i cant locate anything because the pages are now split. Performance is now on multiple pages. Not a great move folks. Unfortunately I cant move my money.
