Connected once and never again. As multitudes of folks online are saying, this app is so bad it's worth replacing the controller with a FireBoard and going that route. The app connected to my 560 ONE time. I've uninstalled, wiped everything clean, started with a fresh app install and it still won't connect to my 560 - although sometimes randomly I'll get temperature notifications or cool down notifications. 99 percent of the time I try starting over, it won't even connect to my WiFi network.

This app would be great if it worked consistently. Now it won't give me any information on my smoker, even though it says it's connected! Keeps telling me to press the power button on my device to enable the remote. Should always be enabled! Wish there were a few more customizations, too. Like what alerts I want, or maybe tell me when it's not at its setting, rather than telling me numerous times that it is.

The app does a good job of providing control over the smoker. An ambient temperature too high alarm feature would be great. I've had grease fires that could have been caught earlier if the an alert for 20-30° above my set temp was available. ----- Update----- The app still functions well. I'd still like to see the high temperature alert option be implemented.
