UPDATE FIRMWARE:

I bought the BMV-712. After install, I connected it to my Samsung S22 Ultra. From my phone I dialed-in all the necessary settings to get started. All worked as it should. From there I was able to monitor my batteries and determine my use and state of charge. What a game-changer to have the detailed specs of what my system is doing, and to have them conveniently on my phone. Only oddity, every time you go away from this app and return it has to resynch itself. But that only takes a few seconds.

Doesn't work with Multiplus 12/800/35-16. Detects the unit (via USB MK3 dongle and VE.bus) but says "Unsupported firmware version. The Multi/Quattro is running a firmware version that is not fully supported by VictronConnect. Update VictronConnect to the latest available version to enable settings." Same on both Android and PC. Both are the latest versions. After much trial and error, was finally able to connect using VE.Configure software on PC. VictronConnect still doesn't work.

Works really well As a feature suggestion. If you only have one victron unit added, it should just autoconnext and take you right into it when you start the app. Its really annoying if you are troubleshooting over the course of several hours to have to start the app then click and wait for it to connect each time the app shut down in the background
