The Lyft Direct Mastercard® debit card is issued by Stride Bank, N.A., member FDIC, pursuant to a license by Mastercard International.

Ride fare earnings will be sent after each ride. There may be instances where funding is delayed. Tips will be sent based on the Rider’s selection, which may take place up to 24 hours after the ride is completed.

Rewards categories and amounts subject to change without notice and vary based on Lyft Reward Tier. Cashback rewards are earned for select purchases using your debit card and become available for redemption as those purchases settle. For cashback on gas, only payments made at the pump are eligible.
Payment for gas made inside the gas station is not generally eligible for cashback. Gas merchant classification is subject to Mastercard rules.

Wellness Perks is powered by Avibra and subject to eligibility for active Lyft Direct users. To be considered active, you must have received a payout to your Lyft Direct card within the last 60 days. Wellness Perks are subject to change without notice; select services are limited by state residency.

Interest is offered only on funds in a Lyft Direct Savings Account. The annual percentage yield (APY) may change at any time without notice.

Balance Protection is only available to Lyft Direct debit card users with enabled instant payouts to the card after every trip. Eligible amount is dependent on the driver's Lyft Rewards tier. I dont like it bc lyft is automatically sending my payments to this card even though it won't be mailed til Nov 13 and they keep turning it on without permission daily even after I turn it off. So far, I've lost about $15 total since they automatically enrolled me into something I clearly clicked "no" on when I added my own direct deposit account upon registering for lyft a month ago. Suddenly my payments are going somewhere else in the last 2 days. Feels like a scam.

I've been driving for barely a month and I have found the app user friendly. I'd been registered for a month and a halve but was afraid to get started knowing that I was going to pickup strangers and permit them in my car was a bit scary!! After reading all the driver material, it put me at ease to learn that the "help" button is at reach in case of anything. It's been a very smooth start getting the account as well as the debit card and being able to see your earnings in real time.

Overall, I am very pleased! I would love to be able to deposit a check with this app by snapping a photo, and it would be great if the rewards were instantly deposited into my account (although they are instantly available) vs. having to "cash them out", but even without those features, the app is easy to use, and I love how I have my payments instantly available without having to incur a fee!
