About this app

The Clock app provides Alarm, World Clock, Stopwatch, and Timer features. Use the Clock app to manage your time efficiently, as well as check the weather by city.

• Alarm
This feature allows you to assign dates to alarms, and repeat alarms can skip one day and be turned on again. The Snooze feature allows you to create the same effect as setting multiple alarms.

• World Clock
This feature allows you to check the time and weather by city. Quickly confirm the location of a specific city with the globe.

• Stopwatch
This feature allows you to record the elapsed time for each section and copy the recorded value.

• Timer
This feature allows you to save frequently used timer times as preset timers, as well as run multiple timers simultaneously.

The following permissions are required to use this app, but you can use the basic features of the app without allowing these permissions.

Optional permissions
• Music and audio: Used to open sounds saved on your phone or tablet for alarms and timer alerts
• Notifications: Used to show ongoing timers and notify you about upcoming and missed alarms
• Photos and videos: Used to select images and videos for alarm backgrounds(Android 14 and higher)
• Calendar: Used to show an upcoming event when using the Weather alarm background

Ratings and reviews

Like others in reviews, I've used this app ever since I've had a Samsung for the past decade. Up until recently, it'd give me no issues whatsoever, and was extremely reliable. Now, however, this app has become increasingly frustrating and irritating to use day-to-day. Alarms simply won't go off. Alarms will be completely silent because the alarm sound changed by ITSELF. The dismissal sliders will refuse to work. Going in to the app is a gamble on whether or not it will freeze and crash. FIX IT

This app has worked well for the 10+ years I have owned a Samsung device. I don't know what happened with the recent updates, but now my alarm volume changes on its own. I have missed multiple alarms because of this. I have gone into the app, set a specific volume the night before and it still doesn't sound in the morning. I never thought I would have to find a non-native alarm app, but after a couple weeks with this issue, I had to download a different app.

I never had any issues with this clock (over 2 years on current device) until 3 days ago. Alarm went off Monday morning but made no sound. I just so happened to turn over, and the light from the alarm is what woke me. There were no issues yesterday. Today, I woke up 35 minutes late. I checked the phone and had a "missed alarm" notification. I assume it went off without sounding, and the light didn't wake me this time.
