It’s so quick and easy to plan your train journeys. The CP App lets you buy your tickets for the Alfa Pendular or Intercidades and journey supplements on the Regional, InterRegional, Oporto and Coimbra urban trains trains, add passengers to accompany you and see the train times even if you are offline. The GPS can tell you what trains are going through the nearest station to you.

Ratings and reviews

This app was much better than I expected it to be based on existing reviews. While still no DB Navigator competitor, it works fine when booking several tickets for a trip between Lisbon and Porto. The only thing missing from what I can tell are real time trip updates. The notifications for bus replacement service and other issues also do not show for long enough on screen and can't be accessed later.

1) The app won't let you choose seats. Worse, when you buy tickets for some trains (IC), you don't even realise the process reserves a seat for you. 2) The app won't tell on which platform and sector you can board your train. 3) If you buy tickets for a train service, you won't be able to buy another ticket for another passenger you're travelling with. 4) If you save regular trains to check timetables, you can't just select a train and buy tickets, you'll have to go back to the main menu.

Similar experience as others. Good for checking the timetables, but seems to give always an error when trying to pay with card and payment confirmation is needed with the bank app. Money gets transferred, but not tickets, refund takes days. Hopefully this will be sorted with priority as it is quite a big flaw in the main functionality of the app.
