Ratings and reviews

Saved articles went wrong for me: where you click the 9 squares master menu icon top right, Saved Articles, then red text 'Sorry! Something went wrong.' I had to clear app data and sign back in to the app, set notifications settings again. The good news was my actual saved article choices were stored in the cloud apparently as they returned. I've not had any other problems and find the app pretty good.

Probably the best way to read the Daily Telegraph on a smartphone, but mediocre at best. The biggest, hugest annoyance is that whenever I move away from the app - just go to look at something else such as a message - when I return it had gone back to the main menu, there are then four menus to get to where I was 1 minute ago. WHY? Update: From 22/08/'24 the newspaper tab is now hidden in a sub-menu, so even harder to reach. I just want to read the paper, not topics chosen for me.

From 5 to 2, as the app functionally works well. The latest update moves the newspaper out of the main navigation - the newspaper is the section which I want the app for. Everything else is for extra context, or filler. There is no way to edit your navigation to bring it back in - to replace Latest or Puzzles for example. I really enjoyed using this app because I like to read the paper, and then expand on live stories or topics outside of that.
