Ratings and reviews

The scoring is a joke. You could capture all your opponent's pieces and have them on the run, but because your time runs out a little sooner, you're the one who loses points. FU: Even if it's timed chess, the player who has taken the most pieces (most crucial pieces) should be awarded points, not the one who simply runs out the clock on the other player. It's easy to keep on the lamb and run out the clock. It takes more skill to capture the opponent's pieces than it does to remain on the run.

I usually hate apps that want you to immediately pay for their subscription service, BUT this app is doing it right. There are some things you're locked out of, but the app itself is sooo great, and I will be paying for the subscription. My husband and I can easily play together because it has such a great response time and we're not lagging between our moves when on our individual phones. A family subscription plan would be kind of nice, but that's not the biggest deal either. Very happy!!

When you select a piece it shows you possible moves as little dots and they're such a very light variation / shade of color from the background I can barely see them. There are different themes or styles you can choose for chess pieces and the board but as a colorblind person I would like a high contrast color option because it is very difficult for me to play as it is.
