Ratings and reviews

I've been using the app for years and it's pretty good. However, they recently changed the puzzles so that there is a face and big speech bubble at the top of every puzzle. It's extremely distracting and I hate it. Puzzles were much, much better without this vapid, pointless"feature". Edit: I have learned you can disable this feature by going to settings --> coach. This was my main complaint so I'll change my review back to 5 stars.

great chess app! you can flawlessly challenge Friends, random people, or even computers to chess matches. Get notified when it's your turn to move. You can search Facebook or your phone's contact list to see if anyone plays on the chess app. you can also get help after a game to analyze what you did wrong, great app overall! I honestly like the app more than the website!

Too many pop-ups now. The app already had pop-ups every once and a while for the diamond membership, but now there are constant pop-ups for puzzles and lessons, and then if you click one, it just tells you to buy premium. I know that I can do a few puzzles for free, and I'm fine with that. Don't tell me I can do a puzzle and then tell me to pay for it.
