The best free HIIT timer! All of what I need: customize the amount for rest, work, cycles in a set, sets, and rest in between sets. In addition, it gives me the total time of the customized settings so that I can change it if I have more or less time to work out. It works with my phone settings for volume & vibration. The color change between rest & work also helps. I didn't check if the color is customizable but I'm happy with green & red.

There are 16 colors. Please go to Settings, Set up timer screen, Set up colors if you want to change the green / red. Thank you very much for your detailed review and for using my app! If you have any questions about this timer, I will be happy to answer them

Great app. So far I am using it to time stick handling drills for hockey practice (in my garage). Options for programming timer of workout sequences with name and description for each interval and different sounds for indicating the beginning and end of each interval. One feature I would like to see added is centralized variable assignment, for example if I could define "work_A = 30 (seconds)" then apply that variable to multiple intervals, could make it easier to iterate or adjust a workout.

You can do this, but only inside the workout. On the screen where you edit intervals, there is a plus icon to the right of Work. You don't have to aim at it, the whole line is clickable. That drop-down menu has an item called Duplicate values. In this way, you can apply time, description and image to all intervals of the same type. Thank you!

I've been using this app for a couple of weeks and was impressed. It is super flexible and much easier to use than other timer apps. (I was using Flex Timer by GynNext and it is very clunky and not as user friendly) It is easy to personalize as well. Lots of settings that are easy to find and use. I paid for the app after trying it and found it to be very inexpensive. I purchased the year subscription. I would suggest the developer add an option to display heart rate monitors.

Thank you very much for your detailed review and for using my app! It is very difficult for an individual developer. I need access to many heart rate devices during development and testing. Without this I can't do it well. I did some research but didn't find any apps that work well with various heart rate sensors (from different manufacturers).

What's new

💪 Fix for the Pause on call feature for devices with Android 12+. It now requires READ_PHONE_STATE permission.
💪 Added instructions for disabling background restrictions. This is necessary so that the timer works reliably in the background when you lock the screen or open another app on top.
💪 Minor bug fixes.
