One of the most exciting things are all of the different ways you can view an article. You can strip away all of the images, so it is just basic text. Card View gives you big images and just a snippet of text on what the article is about. Magazine view makes everything look clean and is a good balance between image size and news snippets.

Not bad. Could use a sepia setting... Edit: Oh hell no! Full screen ad that interrupted my music at the same volume level over my BT speakers. I can put up with the stupid Google banner ads but, enough is enough...

It's a poor reading experience compared to just visiting the website. Floating action buttons and full-screen pop-over ads really get in the way.

I prefer the website where you can have a black dark mode and ability to stop animated ads. I actually like ads for related products, eg ereaders and related services, but not the animated Google ads.
