Works great, once you figure out how to use it. It took me a few hours to figure out where is my phone's mic was, would be nice if they can show it (but i guess keeping inventory of all phone is difficult) Also, app does not work with external mic. It would be great if you can support that.

Seems like the app itself works from a coding standpoint, but I was unable to record a heartbeat by just holding my smartphone to my chest. Perhaps with a separate specialty microphone this might work, but even with amplification it is too faint, and there is far too much background noise to discern anything useful. Maybe add more documentation on how to hold phone and how hard to press the mic against the skin for best results?

Hello Try a different auscultation zone The smartphone must be pressed against the body with the smartphone microphone.

I like this app because it actually picks up my heartbeat. For me, the audio is still kind of weak after recording using only the device's mic, so what i do is i find the spot on my chest where my heart beats the loudest/strongest using a stethoscope, then i remove the stethoscope in my ears but i keep the stethoscope on my chest intact then im gonna put one of the earpieces of the stethoscope on the mic of my phone, and it records better :DD
