The Blood Pressure Diary App by MedM is the most connected blood pressure monitoring app in the world, designed to simplify blood pressure management at home, track trends, and export reports for the doctor. This smart blood pressure tracking assistant enables users to log data manually or to automatically capture readings from over 200 supported smart BPMs via Bluetooth. Aside from blood pressure, the app can help track medication intake, heart rate, oxygen saturation, respiration rate, and body weight with over a dozen of body composition parameters.

The app has a clean and intuitive interface and works with or without registration. Users decide if they want to keep their health data on their smartphone only, or additionally back it up to MedM Health Cloud (https://health.medm.com).

Premium Members, additionally, can sync select data types with other ecosystems (such as Apple Health, Health Connect, Garmin, Fitbit), share access to their health data with other trusted MedM users (family members or caregivers), set up notifications for reminders, thresholds, and goals, as well as receive exclusive offers from MedM partners.

MedM follows all applicable best practices for data protection: the HTTPS protocol is used for cloud synchronisation, all health data is stored encrypted on securely hosted servers. Users exercise full control over their data and can at any time export and/or delete their health record.

I used to like this app because it was simple and didn't harass you about creating an account and giving them your data. With their latest update, I was prompted to create an account... not required, so ok, I guess. Except, the app apparently deleted all my existing historical data! Thanks. Whether I created an account or signed in as a guest, my history was gone. I emailed support a few days ago, but no response so far. I'm just going to uninstall and go back to tracking manually in Excel.

The app used to be better. Since the recent major update that added features (that potentially create more ways for users' data to end up in the wrong hands), when the app is started, it no longer synchronizes to include readings that were taken while the app wasn't running. The update may also have turned on or added notifications that make it look like there's an important message; but the notification doesn't go away unless you turn off the app's notification permission at the system level.

This app does not disappoint!! I tried several apps which resulted in dissatisfaction. Some wanted payment just to add a note. Some did not have the features I was looking for or needed. I loved this app from my first entry. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone who is wanting to keep track of your bp. It is easy to use, and has all the necessary features I and my doctor find most important for ones medical records. Great job!
