An explanation of the permissions we seek when you install the m-Indicator app:

1. Location: We use fine and Coarse Location for the Cabs feature in which you can easily compare the prices from Well-known Cab Services such as Uber & Ola.

2. Call Log: We use this for identifying relative's Mobile Number in Women Safety feature.

3. Send SMS: We use this permission to automatically send Text Messages to the Relatives in Women Safety feature.

4. Receive SMS: We need this permission to read PNR SMS.

5. Storage: In Express Section, user can save and share the screenshot of Running Status, Seat Availability and Coach Position.

Ratings and reviews

If any AC local trains are getting cancelled or delayed then no updates are shown on this app. Even to confuse people they show different locations of trains which is not true because if the train is cancelled then how can you just show the current location of it. This is the failure of an app as this has happened many times. I paid money to travel in an AC local but it never arrived.

Time Table is not up-to-date. Today I noticed when I was traveling from Andheri to Virar, when I was in andheri, no train is showing in m-indicator application for 5.45 pm for Virar Fast however I realised on 6th platform Virar fast is available to board. Kindly update the list. If it's an version issue please get it availabled for every user. Thanks You.

Great app and one of the best, just one request change the platform no in the train map cause when expanded on particular local train it shows PF2 left etch which makes it very confusing for which platform the train will go for a destination so hence please make it only pf 1 standard naming.
