Does not work The last time I used this app successfully was in August, and it was always great. I don't know what happened. Now I can't even log in. I put in my email and password and then it says 'Authenticating user' and then 'Server connection timed out'. Unusable. I came to the Play store to see if there was an update fixing this major bug and was surprised not to find any! Please fix it soon as I'm often late for the train and love being able to order tickets reliably on my phone on board. :-D
Terrible User Interface The app provides the general information that can be found and everything works as intended. However everything is very laggy and frustrating. Often the app will not open when I'm trying to show the conductor my ticket which causes problems. This needs major bug fixes.
Literally the slowest, clunkiest app I've ever used in my entire life. I've used apps faster than this back when the first iPhone and G1 came out. There's no excuse for such a poorly designed and optimized app on a flagship phone like the Note 5. Everything lags terribly. The UI is hideous. Not all ticketing options are available. I honestly don't understand how an organization that makes so much money could produce an app so terrible. NJ Transit, get your act together.
Takes too long to start, lost favorites The last update wrecked the startup time for the app. Randomly closes the ticket when the app is in the background and often freezes on a black or white screen, especially when having a spotty connection. Fix this! Or expand cellular repeaters at all your stations, including NY Penn. It's not your customer's fault if their app isn't up, anymore. Embarrassing.
Faster to just buy the paper tickets If you purchase a bunch of tickets or even a monthly and calculate the total time for activating and showing each one, it would be vastly longer than just waiting on line at the ticket machine the one time and handing your tickets over. It is really slow and clunky.
Doesn't work This app used to work like a dream back in June. I don't what happened. Now I can't even log in. I will put in my email and password and then it will say 'Authenticating user' and it won't progress. Ever. It just stays on the screen forever. The loading symbol doesnt even move. The same happens if you try to register a new account. Unusable.
