With this being the "official" app for NJtransit it in no way should EVER be unreliable. Commuters like myself rely on this app for our buses and trains. If we can't access it during commuter hours, it puts us in at a disadvantage when getting from point A to B. Is my bus going to be late? Early? I have no idea, because the app isn't working. Texting seems to give SCHEDULED times, not tracking. Do better NJtransit.
This app will certainly come in handy if you are running late and want to buy a ticket when getting on the train. However, the app is sluggish and not very responsive to touch. Trying to pick the right station out of the list is excruciatingly frustrating. For now I'll stick with paper tickets, the app is not worth the bother unless you're running late and want to avoid the surcharge.
App was working great until the last update. Now every time I try to access my monthly bus pass the app freezes my whole phone, and I have to remove my battery and restart my phone multiple times before it randomly works correctly. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times with no improvement.
Purchased my July monthly ticket, for which I received a purchase receipt, and 3 days later I open the app and there's no history of said purchase and there is no active monthly ticket available. $300 down the damn drain.
Been at this two hours. Cannot access my account through cell phone. My ID, password everything is correct. This also happened last month. So amazingly frustrating!
Bus doesn't show stops in order! Bus search results do not display stop number how is anyone supposed to know the correct stop. Rail becomes unresponsive whenever I change the date without changing the month.
