Ratings and reviews

Pros: * I like how quickly it connects when I get a notification. Cons: * It does not allow you to set a custom detection zone. This means, any car or movement anywhere in the screen will trigger a non-stop notification. This is a HUGE disadvantage!!! * The monthly subscription is beyond absurd!!! It's like another phone bill. There are other product who are comparable with Ring such as Aiwit, and they charge fraction of the cost. Conclusion: These issues must be addressed and fixed.

I love my Ring cameras when they work. I have one that constantly gives me notifications yet, I'm unable to see any videos load. It looks like they will load but then it just spins forever and never creates a video. The other issue I have with the Ring app is that you cannot change the notification for a neighborhood alert. It always seems like there's somebody on one of your cameras but it's a neighborhood alert. I would love the ability to have a different notification tone for this.

I enjoy Ring camera functionality, but the app has become sluggish during the past couple of updates. For example, despite 1 GB speeds, video playback in the app is choppy and nearly unwatchable. I also want the ability to disable all Night modes and share videos directly with Microsoft OneDrive. I currently have to download the videos to Google Files and then share them with MS OneDrive. You claim you fix bugs, but you don't bother to specify which bugs. I find no discernible improvements.
