SoCatch is a new version of iWatch DVR which is a H.264+H.265 DVR remote viewer. It can be viewed in non-landscape or landscape mode after filling in IP, port, username, and password.

I've been using SoCatch for many years on an android phone. It worked great up until a year or so ago when it was updated. Now, the app us constantly down. I try uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Then it just starts working again. I also downloaded app on my ipad and desktop with no issues, just the phone. Still not working as of 12/7/2020

The 1.4.66 version messed up the streaming with data connection. it only works from wifi connections. please fix it. I had to uninstall the app and install the 1.4.65 version that worked ok with both data and wifi

Not great, but bad either. The only issue i have with it is that if your internet connection isn't great or you're in an area with low signal it isn't gonna work well. But when it works, it works great! Just would be better if it worked regardless of how bad/slow your wi fi is or how bad reception your mobile data is. The creators of this app definitely need to fix this and update it asap. Overall a very good solid app.....when it works.
