BeAware Bahrain app is the official contact tracing app for The Kingdom of Bahrain. Together Against COVID-19:
In accordance with instructions from Crown Prince to utilize technology to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and in line with Minister of Health instructions to enforce the installation and usage of BeAware Bahrain mobile app for cases under home isolation, as per Public Health Laws in Bahrain, that gives the authority to the minister of health to the take necessary actions to limit the spread of such pandemics. Additionally, voluntary contact tracing capabilities are provided to registered app users. Location tracking will not be active for non-registered users.
As citizens and residents, we have both a community and individual responsibility to safeguard the safety and well-being of all.
BeAware has additional features related to view the users’ official cards, health cards and health appointments as well as MonkeyPox Recovery Certificate,MonkeyPox Isolation certificate
This application provides a number of services in collaboration with the following entities:
• Ministry of Health
• The National Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus COVID-19
• The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA)
• The General Directorate of Traffic (GDT)

In support of all communities within the Kingdom of Bahrain & to leave no one behind, the app is available in two languages (Arabic, English)

The app does exactly what it describes. Before arriving in Bahrain, I downloaded it, paid for my PCR test and everything went smoothly at the airport. After that, I booked my two appointments, and it was easy to find the test centers. I wish foreigners could also apply and pay for the vaccine, without having a CPR card. Anyway, overall it's a great app! 👍

I liked the app, it is simple and does provide the necessary information. One thing that needs to be fixed is the notifications for the daily photo requests.. I am not getting the notification and missing to upload them most of the times. Also it would be great to see the date and expected time of self-isolation end test and instructions. Thanks for the good work!

I initially gave the app 5 stars, but recently, the photo uploading doesn't work. During the travel-mandated isolation in September, photo uploading was no issue at all. Replies to complaints are generic- uninstall, reinstall, check and grant all required permissions, all of which have been done, to no avail. Access to isolation and recovery certificate and its other features remain and are still very useful.
