About FODMAPs and IBS:
FODMAPs are carbohydrates poorly absorbed in the small intestine, causing issues for those with IBS, Crohn's, Colitis, Lactose Intolerance, and other sensitivities. The acronym stands for:

* Fermentable
* Oligo
* Di
* Mono-saccharides
* And
* Polyols

These specific carbs, present in many foods, can worsen symptoms of gastrointestinal disorders. Restricting them can significantly improve symptom control.

It's very easy to use this app if you want to know simply whether a food is high or low fodMAP. There are no details like in other fodMAP apps, but that's fine with me when I'm in a restaurant or something is cooking at home and I don't want details. Obviously, if something is "high" I know to eat as little of it as possible, unless I've already learned via the elimination-replacement process that for me it's not a trigger food. Request for foods is be added to the Diectory usually works.

I am unable to click any item in the app without paying. The free version app is essentially a big list of food items and their FODMAP/ ibs trigger rating. To me the list isn't conorehensive enough to incentive me to pay for the premium features. Personally, I don't think the list is comprehensive enough free or otherwise.

Easy to use, with a clear, neat format. Was very useful in the elimination phase of my diet, & in reintroducing foods. It seems a bit Australia-centric, with a few European foods missing. In-app, one can suggest missing foods, but I'm not sure how long it takes the developers to add new ones, or whether they wait for a large volume of same requests.

Thanks for the feedback. We're working on updating our food voting system so that we can add commonly requested foods to the app more regularly. Certain food can't be included as there is no testing data for them yet but we will be adding a number of available foods soon.
