The whole reason I backed this companies doorbell project was because they claimed it has the lowest response times among smart doorbells. Not only does that not seem to be true, but it's likely the worst I've ever seen... The doorbell notifications are only quick when the app is pulled up on the screen, yet even with battery optimization disabled the app stops running within minutes of turning your phones screen off. Once that happens, you only get quiet, very slow, notification for events.

This software is a little tricky to install and get the camera to work right. We had some network settings that interfered with a correct installation. We fixed the problem on our end and it now works great. The camera is super sensitive and I'm notified every time my cat stretches, lol. The 4☆ is because there is no vendor contact info in the app and I had to go looking for it to reconcile a double charge on my PayPal.

With an EC3 lite camera, it is not possible to manage the storage of SD card. Besides that, it records dozen of minutes even if nothing is happening....Very dissatisfied with the software. Just allow to add the camera to Xiaomi home...
