Ratings and reviews

This game is done better than at least one of it's predecessors, as I haven't played grim tide. The combat has improved, there's more variety in the things you can do outside of dungeons, there's even an arena feature that wasn't in the last game, though I feel like it should be tweaked slightly, maybe having gold be a stronger incentive to do the arena things. I liked this game

Dev has continued to improve gameplay over the two earlier games in the series. Combat and dungeon crawling uses the same basic grid throughout (so far) and does get a little boring and repetitious, even though you have a better range of options for skills, spells, and items. So it's not quite 5.0, more 4.5. Compensating for this is an interesting back story with lots of documents and non-combat interactions, which makes the game more than just hacking and spellcasting.

Love the game, has lots of fun combinations possible, although there may be some balancing needed. It's way more difficult the tides or quest, but what makes it even harder for me is that for some reason I can't get the ads to play for the wages... please fix it. :( I'd love to pay for ads-free IAP, but I was hoping it could be around $5.00 or so. If there were a sale on it, I'll definitely buy it.
