About this app

An interactive set of tools that offer aid to the parent under siege by Joanna Faber and Julie King.

Are you worn out by sibling strife, bedtime battles, food fights, and clean up conflicts? Are you tired of tantrums and meltdowns? Do you wish you had a button to press that would make kids just behave? We provide the buttons! Users choose from the following categories and click through questions that guide them to instant tips and advice.

* I want to help my child with difficult feelings
* I want my child to do something (or stop doing something)
* I need some alternatives to punishment
* I want to encourage my child
* Help! My kids are fighting!

When you're deep in the trenches with no time to think, this app will help you pull through. Whether your child is terrified of the neighbor’s toothless toy poodle, reluctant to brush his teeth, angry because she can’t play with your smartphone in the bathtub, or punching his brother in the stomach, you will find creative, effective, sometimes humorous solutions, with concrete examples and dialog to help you through the crisis.

I listened to the audiobook back in 2021,& it was amazing how I could just change the way I worded things & my kids would actually listen! It cut back on the yelling & arguments instantaneously! I downloaded & paid for this app a year later when my friend's 3 year old was always having a meltdown & wouldn't listen to a single word she said. The app helped me refresh my memory on how to handle meltdowns & I was able to help diffuse the situation when her son was having yet another one. Get it!

NOT FREE I downloaded after reading the book (which is fab) to find it is only free for 24 hours and nowhere does it say how much it costs to pay afterwards. I clicked to 'unlock' the full version as could no longer use the app and it just comes up with t's & c's to enter a contract and doesn't say the cost. Be very careful or you could be charged!

We are very sorry for the confusion. The applications sports a 24-hour trial period and after that you'll need to purchase it for $3.99 to unlock it forever.

I just downloaded it a few days ago and hadn't had a chance to open the app. I just opened it to try it, and it says my trail period has ended? I didn't even start. It seems as if they give you a short period of time to use the app once downloaded. This is not enough time. It would be more user-friendly if you gave at least 1wk to try it and to have the trail time start the first time you actually try it- not download. I have not yet tried it so have no clue what to expect
