I've been using it for 10 years. It started out great, now it is cluttered with stuff that the paying user can't get rid of, e.g., PTE Recipes (12); information on when you imported the recipe and last prepared it is before the method instead of at the bottom (who looks at that?). They upped the price, but aren't giving the user enough options for customizing their recipe box.

10 stars, if it was an option. I've been meal planning for a long time. Have used everything from a notebook and binder to a special recipe reader before smartphones were a thing. But this app does it all. I love the cloud-based platform. It lets me work from my computer, which I prefer for the planning part. Then transitions flawlessly to my phone and my tablet to go shopping or cook in the kitchen. I tell everyone about it!

I've been using this app with my spouse for years, I'm prepaid for over another year and I'm just about fed up. They keep adding unnecessary stuff and the app is getting ridiculously bloated. To add a food from your staple (reference) list to your shopping list is now a five or six click affair when it used to be so easy. I guess they're going down the route of chasing new subscribers over existing customers so I'll be cutting this subscription out.

Hi Cynthia, I'm sorry you feel that way. The features we have been adding are based on the most popular feedback from our current customers. What new features do you feel are bloating the app? We just launched an update in version 3.3.3 that lets you add selected staples list items to your list with one tap. -Clint

What's new

- We added an option to the Shopping List to show "All Items" together instead of grouping items by store.
- We added a settings modal to the Staples List.
- We removed empty stores from the Shopping List and added a "You did it!" message when the list is empty.
- We added an extra "Add to Shopping List" action button to the Staples List and an "Add to Planner" button when viewing recipes.
- We improved recipe search performance.
