I have always struggled with sticking to a meal plan/ calorie goal because I get bored with the meals provided in the meal plan. I cannot stress how amazing this app is. There is so much customization and the more I play around with the app, the happier I am. I love that you have the option to choose your dietary preference, pick which days and meals you want leftovers, customize time for cooking, you get a grocery list, it's just a user-friendly and very customizable app. I am very happy to pay money for this when previously I was paying more money for MyFitness Pal and it doesn't plan your meals for you, it's only a calorie counter. This app has changed my life!
If I could rate Eat This Much 100 golden sparkling stars instead of just 5, I would! I'm using its Keto setting and my world is TONS easier to navigate now. I have a personal guide working within a calorie boundary (and sticking to the Macros I set) while giving me a variety of food choices. I can also set up specific foods for specific times/days from my favorite items or personal recipes. Wow. I feel I have a powerful and extremely well thought out tool at my disposal and I am fortunate to have access. My son uses the muscle building setting to tailor his meals towards his goals... with different meal planning things could become crazy but the grocery list generated by the weekly meal plan makes it easy. Lots of thought went into this. Thank you.
Concept is good. But there's things that render it unusable in certain circumstances. And annoying in others. One of such things is it reloads everything Everytime you switch apps or lock/unlock your phone that's annoying, but it can make the app useless when I go to the supermarket where internet fails often. Last time I was shopping, switched apps, got back to "eat this much" and, of course, it didn't load. I had to go outside the supermarket and take screenshots to prevent this from happening. I mean, can't you cache some content at least? Otherwise it's an excellent app 👌
For us who struggled with an everyday meal plan this is a perfect app. But it would be better if you will also consider price variation and food availability per country, when generating meal plans, given that this app is available globally and that people around the world can use this. I mean, you considered the budget in generating meal plans which is good because I believe most people are budget constrained but also consider that prices are not the same in one country to another. Pls. consider having a currency option and customized budget inputting. Also, not all the ingredients are available everywhere given the geographical characteristic of a country so it would be better if you will ask your customers from what country they are and give them meal plans that are much suitable for them based on what's abundantly available around them.
This app is the absolute perfect meal planning app. I always thought it was strange that there wasn't a simple food app that took account of my current food, allowed me to put some recipes in a week did simple maths and went "You need 5 more chicken breasts". This goes a step beyond and says "Here you don't even have to decide which meals just press go". So easy to use and with the ability to control every element a great app and the only one I'll ever need again.
This app was ok and I liked the fact that the daily budget amount could be set, but I literally broke the app in less than 4 hours without any solid way to reset the options back to default. The monthly is too high IMO since I just found another fitness app tye does this for $3/mo. but doesn't include the budget option.
