Using Textra for years and have always loved it. However, the new way to select pictures is not my favorite. I would prefer that when you tap on a picture it works like before. A long press could bring up the multiple select option instead of the preview. Not sure the preview adds anything. Also it took me a while to even figure out I could select a picture from the preview. I use a dark theme and the little circle barely shows up on the screen. I was quite frustrated.

I've been using Textra for years & have loved it. The easy functionality & abilitty to customize chat threads makes it the first app I download when I upgrade phones & has consistently earned 4-5 stars. HOWEVER, with the latest update & the added steps to attach photos, it's so frustrating to send pics. I use this app for business to send before/after pics to my clients, so for me to have to have additional steps to use a basic function is close to a deal breaker. Please change it back!!

I appreciate your response, I run a business and have to send multiple media files many times a day. And like everyone is saying the the comments "put choosing media back the way it was". There's no need to add a circle to the top right of each picture. Tapping on the like it used to be is much easier. This new thing is very very counterintuitive.
