About this app

Save your private information on an NFC TAG or an NFC card
This application encrypts text (AES 128) that is entered directly into the app's input window - or inserted via drag & drop - and writes it onto low cost NFC TAG’s, NFC cards, or other NFC-devices.
Any text can be stored in any text format up to the size of the tag type - similar to a notepad - but encrypted.
The app only requires the permission for NFC and is therefore completely decoupled from device access. Only the device NFC function has to be available and activated.
The data is transmitted to the TAG via NDEF standard (NFC Data Exchange Format).
If a TAG is unformatted, formatting will be offered by the application function.
You will find the password setting for the encryption in the option menu in top right of the main window. For easy handling the password is also encrypted stored on the device memory as long you need it. The highest level of security is given if you delete the password after writing the TAG and re-entered when reading out. You can delete the password by clicking button of the popup window.

The application uses the Android NFC background system, so you can close the application. If NFC is enabled the app will automatic start up if an NFC TAG is in near vicinity and show the TAG’s contents. If the content can’t be decrypted the password popup window is shown.
For a good function it’s recommended that other applications which uses also the Android NFC background system are deactivated.

Tested TAG types are:
NXP NTAG 215, NTAG 216,
MIFARE Classic 1k, 2k, 4k,
MIFARE DESFire EV2 4k
