Rapid Connect is an on-demand transit service provided and operated by The Rapid.

This service provides a new mobility option for customers in the cities of Walker and Kentwood. It is designed to connect customers with The Rapid’s fixed-route bus system for more travel options throughout the Greater Grand Rapids area.

The app for the rapids service keeps crashing this has been ongoing for about 3 weeks. When you try to book a ride, it kicks you off the app. You have to reinstall the entire app just to book a ride. Even after that, every time you click on the map view, it kicks you off. This makes it impossible to know if your driver is on the way or what time they arrived.

Three words: Hor, ri and ble! I've been working at My job going on 6 years, never been late, until I used the Rapid Connect! The app and the actual Rapid Connect Vehicles are not in sync at all! The drivers seem to be totally incompetent, except for this Beautiful Black Woman who used to drive weekdays from 2pm-6pm, in the Grand Rapids Michigan, East Beltline and Broadmoor Area. When I first used the service, I ended up being late to work several times in the span of a few weeks! Unreliable.....

This app is NOT user friendly. It will move your requested time around so that you have to cancel and re-request several times to get to time slot that you want. And then it will lie about run availability. Since when do we have to serve this app?!?
