Lacks the finishing that a community-based app requires.... I signed on to the concept but reality isn't good. There are no safeguards against bad actors other than some warnings. There is no functionality to adjust for on-route stops. When riders are recommended, there is no way to review the profile before sending invitations. Overall, this is a sub-standard operation. They are not responsive to the community either.

Been using the app for about a month or two now, and overall it's been a positive experience but I have some pretty big issues with the service. As a driver, the app forces you to charge an extremely low fare and doesn't let you charge extra for pickup/dropoff at specific locations that may be slightly out of the way. I realize they are bounded by regulations on this, but it just doesn't reflect the reality of a service like this. I should be able to set the fare per passenger, not just per trip

Drivers post fake price and in actual demands almost the double price. If you don't agree to pay extra out of the app then they would not accept the booking or cancel the trip. Poparide customer service is awful. They state to reply under 12 hours and after 18 hours there is no response. And it's not one of a kind as multiple bookings have the same problem. And poparide encourages this nuisance as they make more business through this nuisance.
