I have an old USB Endoscope. Android no longer supports the mfg. software. This app, along with a USB mini to C adapter, runs it fine. Instantly got a picture, no hassels, no if, and or buts. It just works, right out of the box. The picture showed up without doing anything. However, in short order you get a banner across the screen blocking the image and saying you can get 100% with the premium upgrade. What a hassel when you just got it centered on your target, then it gets blocked.

This was just kind of a crummy app. Latest update gets aggressively crummier. It used to just have a not-so-intrusive pop-up after the app was in use for several minutes. Now the pop-up covers the entire camera view and shows up after a minute or less. Look, guys, nobody wants to pay for your bad video quality, we just put up with it. If I'm going to pay for something, it'll be better than this. Uninstall.

Works alright, was able to get a video from an astrophotography camera, though things like exposure settings are very limited (paid may be better?). Big failure is that the default folder it stores files in isn't accessible outside of the app unless you root your phone. Selecting a different folder only makes new videos save to that folder, it doesn't move ones you already recorded. Seems to be no way of accessing those videos outside of the app which makes them useless if you want to edit them.
