This app is very inconsistent, sometimes it works well, most time it doesn't. It is very frustrating, the most recent failure consists in saying that "there are no channels available" and asks to scan. When scanning, all the channels are found but still not available when the scanning ends. In the meantime all recordings are available and the fire TV stick shows all the expected channels, which means the TV Recast works well.

Channel Scan not working on app. Must use a Fire TV device to scan for channels. Once they appear on the Fire TV devices under live, the channels do not sync to the app! Live TV cannot be watched because of this. Same issue as when it was based on the Fire TV Remote app. Edit: was able to scan for channels on the app, but after it found 150 channels, they do not appear on the home page. Still no live TV.

Channel scan broke. Connectivity issues even when using an Ethernet connection, shows network status as unknown. My guess is that Amazon is degrading the experience and functionality intentionally, since the recast is no longer sold. Why should they support a product they no longer sell? Easier to just make everyone's recast no longer work, essentially bricking it.
