this app completely sucks. you get 2 ads on start up, then a screen about paying for an ad free subscription pops up, then once you connect to the TV you get another 2 ads. it takes about 3 minutes to just be able to control the TV.. BUT WAIT! You only get to press a button 7 times before another 2 ads pop up!! the only reason i use this app is because it's the only one that will detect my TV.

The app works well, but has a major flaw. It only stays connected to the TV for a few minutes, literally. If your streaming shows, it's ok. But, if you're on YouTube or anything remote heavy, it's basically useless. It needs you to constantly reconnect to the TV. It's definitely not worth 26 bucks a year, which is what they charge for ad free use.

Other Roku remote apps have had issues. I thought I'd give this one a try. The app immediately wanted me to subscribe/pay - before I was able to try it out and see if it's worth it. I ignored the 'pay' page and went to the free trial. An ad pops up every 3 seconds. Frustrating! I didn't get to give it a fair try, because of the amount of ads every few seconds. I can't use it like that and not paying without trying it first. Forced to pay or suffer ad after ad. Not cool. 1 star.
