Fantastic dishwasher, terrible app. The app often / usually refuses to connect on the first attempt, is very slow to respond, and is frustrating. Three of us in the house with three different versions Android phones have similar experiences. The most frustrating part is that you are required to use the app to use the appliance, assuming you want to use more than one favorite cycle.

Hard to get setup but works well once it's working. A lot of features. Had to reset the dishwasher a few times in the beginning to get it to connect to the app, but has not misbehaved for a few months. Can't understand why the tablet counter feature disappeared and has not returned. I suppose I can understand hiding the machine care program inside the app, but can they not fit a 'rinse' button on the machine?

So I've been using this app on my new Bosch 500 series dishwasher and it's been flawless. I've had no problem setting up my favorite, adding or removing options, starting and monitoring the cycle, etc. The Wi-Fi connection has been solid. The app is very granular on what you want to be notified about, what you do or don't want sent out on the internet, etc. The overall layout is fairly intuitive. And, I got to name the thing. I am now the proud owner of the Plate Whisperer!
