Ratings and reviews

They have some amazing shows but the ads on the base version are excessive. You get a minimum of 5 ad rolls per 45 min episode and each ad roll has multiple ads (4-5) which are several minutes long. You end up watching more ad than you do show and its the worst when you end an episode because you get the end ad of the current episode and the beginning ad of the new episode. Don't forget im still paying for the service but just not the top tier and dealing with this many ads.

Great until recently. Downloads don't play longer than 90 seconds without closing out, the app closes if an episode ends and you're using the smaller window to watch, watch history sometimes works but usually doesn't, and lately, I've been getting logged out everytime the app closes itself. Just like other streaming services, they've switched focus from users and functionality to profits and minimized costs, but have seemed to forget that the ability to watch is an integral part of the equation.

Edit 5/23/25: "Keep Watching" has been fixed on all devices, but I still can't skip the initial ad on Roku players. Changed stars for that Original: I can skip the initial ad on my phone, but the option doesn't seem to exist on the Roku app. I started watching Deep Space 9, and it doesn't remember that I even started watching it. Yet, the app remembers that I stopped in the middle of an episode of Picard 3 years ago, and it keeps reminding me about it, even though I finished the series.
