The app uses the camera app's functionality to take a photo when a volume key is pressed and sends the command via bluetooth. Works great once the setting on the receiving phone is enabled. Simple yet very effective

It would never pair on my older device, just show up in bluetooth choices but no connection. It also didn't work with my newer device (Samsung Note 9) on the specific app for which it was needed. Might work for a brand new device.

Simple app for simple purpose. No need to buy remote blue shutter. Kudos to the developer! edit: wont work if I use my older phone as remote for my newer phone(paired but will not connect)
