I thought the app worked as expected. I downloaded the app and when I ran it it asked me to create an account which was fine. Then tried to connect and it found my venom 2 back unit with no problem and it handled the pairing with the device and just seemed to work the way I expected. I was able to control the unit and see power status. so again seems fine. When I closed the app and reopened, I had to reconnect which paused the venom operation but could easily resume it from the app. All good.

I just bought Venom 2 Back. Issue with Bluetooth not usable just like several of the other reviews. Android S24 Ultra is connected to 3 other devices, but can't even find this device, let alone connect. I retract the above comment! Venom 2 Back cannot be powered on while charging. Bluetooth cannot be configured when the power is off. The manual may say this, but print in the manual is so small, I can't read it. After I use this device a few times, I will post another addendum to my review.

I have the Normatech Elite boots, app connected seamlessly first try. Does as advertised, providing a nice remote graphical interface with sliders for the same functions on the control units. Convenient, but not mandatory. Only suggestion is to enable different pressure per zone. I also appreciated the small detail of not automatically selecting the checkbox for enabling push notifications and email marketing. It's a small act of respect in this era, but I like that. Good job 👍
