App is for a bluetooth body fat/BMI scale, & is very intrusive, in order to work it requires you create an account & send all sorts of unnecessary personal info location, birthdate etc - to the company; & the scale it came with is useless except for weight, without the app. All the user data & calculations could easily be done & stored right on the device with no need for an account (in China, no less). Uninstalled the app & returned the purchased scale to Amazon for refund,with negative review.

The AIFit smart scale: just $20 new! TGtbT? Yup! :-( It doesn't work w/FitBit as advertised and that's literally why I bought it (as reported by other users, it syncs once, the first time you set it up, then never again). Probably an easy fix if developers cared, but it's been a year and they clearly don't. Works fine otherwise. English version of Chinese app loses a bit in translation, but I find that "flaw" charming (especially how it routinely tells me I'm "overweight" or "obese" LOL!)

Don't trust, don't buy, don't install. This app and it's corresponding scale device are extremely suspicious. The app requires way too many permissions. The bluetooth connection suspiciously connects to your phone "automatically"... doesn't even show that a device is actually connected and communicating. The scale only weighs in Kilograms. The app also requires you to set up an account to access all the options, and even scarier it has options to link to other accounts such as Facebook. Just avoid this dodgy scale completly. I regret the spending my $1 on this clearance item.
