About this app

The SilverCloud location management software app will allow owners and users of the SilverCloud and SilverCloud Sync real-time GPS tracking systems, the ability to view and monitor the precise location of their assets or vehicles, whether it's a single vehicle or an entire fleet of vehicles, from anywhere conveniently from their phone.
Users will be able to monitor the speed of each vehicle and the battery life of each device simply by tapping on the vehicle icon located on the map - accurate to within 2.5 meters (6 feet) of the device. The location also updates automatically, showing the real-time GPS location of the user's vehicles.
Vehicle updates will be based on user's data plan - 3 minutes, 1 minute, 30 seconds, 10 seconds, 5 seconds, or as fast as 3 second continuous updates.
Since the SilverCloud software utilizes Maps, users will have the option of viewing the map in Standard View, Satellite View or a Hybrid of both.

The app was a little glitchy but one call to tech support and they reset it so everything seems to be working good. It seems sometimes sluggish but it does send me alarms once I move out of the protective fence area. EDIT: App can track my routes from the day before, it's very accurate. Device is peace of mind 4 sure. 👍🏽 LONG TERM: Coming up to the 5 month mark. One+ phones are klunky, app had to be reinstalled, reset app 2 allow notifications. All good. I will use this device on all cars.

Used it for almost two years and there is nothing about this system I can call good. Yes it works with the lag of more than a half a day. I can not find a way to see if it currently in power saving mode or not and in what mode specifically. I never set it to sent location data in intervals larger than 30 min, but it still showes that I am in Orlando after I landed in California, traveled to my hotel, rested and sitting on the patio under the open sky.

I just started using the tracker about 4 days ago it was a full charge and now it's a 70%. The device doesn't last too long like it says on the information that says it lasts about 4 to 6 months it's already dying so fast and you pay for a minute of tracking and it doesn't even track it at the minute it takes about a couple minutes to go ahead and move to the tracking device when it's moving. I don't know if it's not really worth it. I'm looking for a new option for a new tracker.
