As of a recent update this has become complete garbage. It now takes more than twice as long to unlock (assuming it can even succeed on the first attempt), no longer remembers what screen you prefer to open to (it used to remember to open to My Spaces so you could start the lengthy unlock process before reaching the door), and the UI constantly stops responding with no indication of what it's doing (maybe trying to load something?). It's gone from a minor annoyance to barely usable.

The entire fundamental concept of a "smart" lock system dependent on a Bluetooth device is anything but smart. Phones are notoriously easy to break, lose, or have stolen. Additionally this is less convenient than a traditional key or keyfob. And I either have to regularly toggle on and off Bluetooth or have it eat up battery. I was forced to use this and I do not want it. That you demand a rating is also extremely infuriating. Would give Zero stars if I could.

I live in an apartment complex where they have Latch on all doors. I like the idea and app design. It works 80% of the time due to software glitches. Sometimes it unlocks my door when I just open my phone on the kitchen countertop, which is way too far from the door. Sometimes it unlocks the door on the floor above. Have to kill the app and reopen quite often. Overall it's a good alternative to physical keys, and I hope you will fix the bugs.
